Cosplay Club

Every Wednesday, step into a world where your favourite characters come to life! Learn new maker skills and explore materials like eva foam, cardboard, fun furr, and more, with help from our expert instructors.

Looking to get more hands on with making? Trying different materials and learn new skills from some incredible teachers and crafters! Craft Club will get participants to explore all kinds of crafty making with new projects each week.

Backstage Builders Club - Thursday 6:30-8:30
Backstage Builders is a hands-on theatre club for teens and pre-teens who are curious about the world behind the theatre curtain. In this club, participants will explore the creative and technical behind the scenes work that brings live performances to life and includes volunteer opportunities on local productions.
Woodworking Wednesday Drop-in 6:30-8:30
Open Studio time for past participants in Carpentry Club and Carpentry Camp. Wendy will be on hand to help lead small projects or offer guidance and supervision on personal projects.

Welcome to a magical realm where imagination reigns supreme! Led by seasoned Dungeon Masters, our Thursday-evening club provides an inclusive and welcoming environment for kids to dive into the world of Dungeons & Dragons.

Our exclusive 6 week-long carpentry club offers young woodworkers the perfect blend of fun, learning, and hands-on experience. Under the guidance of carpenter, Wendy, campers will master shop safety, the use of sophisticated hand and power tools, and much more within a fun, supportive, and safe environment. We guarantee lots of one-on-one support and guidance by limiting camp enrolment to five kids.

🌈 A Club for Queer, Femme, and Non-Binary Heroes🌈
We’re proud to create a queer and female only 2SLGBTQI+ space that champions open-mindedness and collaborative spirit. We know the awkwardness of often male dominated game spaces and how they can feel intimidating or even unwelcome. With kids D&D programs becoming more prevelant, our hope is to create a true safe space for girls and Queer players to explore, imagine, and grow in a safe, supportive space.

Theatre is so much more than the actors on stage. Backstage Builders gives club members the opportunity to explore the many rolls behind the curtain while learning life long skills. Whether it's hard skills like carpentry, prop building, and project management, or essential soft skills like teamwork, communication, adaptability, and independent learning.

Our program offers classroom learning, hands on projects, and out of classroom volunteer work on a local theatre production. This fall and early winter Backstage Builders will be aiding Roden Public School with their musical production of Mary Poppins Jr.
💪 Learning from Professionals 👷♀️
Club members will be learning from a professional Production Manager and Technical Director currently working in their field. Wendy Churton has a background in scenic carpentry, woodworking and project management and will be sharing their over 20 years of experience with our Backstage Builders.
Backstage Builders Club
Backstage Builders is a hands-on theatre club for pre-teens and teens who are curious about the world in theatre behind the curtain. In this club, students will explore the creative and technical work that brings live performances to life - from scenic carpentry, props, costumes, lighting, sound, stage management, production management, and more. Designed as a balance of learning and doing, each session combines facilitated discussions combined with practical, hands-on building experiences. As a group we will discover how every role contributes to creating an unforgettable theatre experience.
