Best of 2025-26

Spotlighting some of our favourite projects from our after school and evening clubs.

Group Art Installations

We love a good space makeover, or a chance to transform the front window for our neighbourhood.

This Halloween, After School Club came together to transform the space into a glowing undersea scape.

Cosplay Club, Craft Club, and our Maker Plus kids joined forces to build a 4' tall Fire Horse for Chinese New Year.

Secret Butterflies

Once a year we host a hidden butterflies challenge for a few of the days of our After School Club. The idea is they must colour or texture match to hide a paper butterfly in plain sight. This year they absolutely blew it out of the water!

Plastic Junk Robots

Our Wednesday Mischief Plus group built their own robots using only upcycled plastic materials, wire - and a cool paint job. It's amazing how different an apple pouch twist off lid looks when it's painted to look rusty.

Giant Cardboard Builds

It's a tradition of ours to challenge our 11+ kids to create something giant with cardboard. By going big, they have to think about form, but also structure and stability. We usually ask them to take a small object and recreate it at a larger scale.

Sewing and Fabric Crafts

From stuffy making, to beading, to knitting, or mending - we love introducing fiber arts to our kids. Demystifying the process of sewing opens up so many avenues of creativity and allows them to appreciate things like their own stuffies more.

Printmaking

Not just pleasant on the outside, our Pleasantview Gem Inn properties are especially popular among families. With underground parking and floor-to-ceiling windows, there's no shortage of natural light or space.

Iconic Lego Scenes

It's a tradition of ours to challenge our 11+ kids to create something giant with cardboard. By going big, they have to think about form, but also structure and stability. We usually ask them to take a small object and recreate it at a larger scale.

Artist Trading Cards

One of our favourite activities with after school and craft club is making small, tradable pieces of art using whatever materials are at our disposal.

Cardboard Cosplay

It's amazing what can be accomplished with only paper mache, cardboard, and that fandom motivation.

Miniatures

Not just pleasant on the outside, our Pleasantview Gem Inn properties are especially popular among families. With underground parking and floor-to-ceiling windows, there's no shortage of natural light or space.

Bridgewater Joy Residence

Co-designed by the world-renowned architect James Smith, our Bridgewater Joy residences offer top views of the nearby lake Michigan. Perfect for a small family, a professional couple, or anyone looking to set up a home office.
